Why We're Small

All Hometta home plans have two things in common: they are designed by acclaimed designers and architects, and they are no more than 2,500 square feet in size. Why that number? It's widely cited as the average size of an American single-family house. Hometta houses serve an unmet need for smaller, more sustainable and relatively more affordable housing, that nonetheless adheres to high architectural standards—from multi-room family houses to efficiency houses like this one from Hometta designer Brett Zamore.
