Builder Not Optional

You should choose your builder (or licensed general contractor) as carefully as you choose your Hometta house design. But there are no set rules for finding a builder. People begin by asking for referrals from people they trust—family, friends, and neighbors. Other sources include: your local Better Business Bureau, your local chapter of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), local real estate agents, bankers and lenders, and building material suppliers and subcontractors. Your relationship with your builder is crucial to the successful completion of your project. Coming soon, the Hometta Construction Guide will advise on locating, selecting, and working with a builder.
