Our multi-city exhibition Welcome Hometta begins tonight with an opening reception at 8 p.m. at the New World Museum. Houstonians will have a chance to meet the Houston-based designers—Jim Evans (Collaborative Designworks), Dawn Finley (Interloop—Architecture), Blair Satterfield (HouMinn Practice) and Brett Zamore (Brett Zamore Design). The event will be catered by Armandos, which means there will be a beautiful red taco truck parked in back serving tacos and margaritas.

The first 24 house designs will be on view through August 2, Thursdays through Sundays, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
